Frank Storey (my dad) is a former FBI agent who spent over 25 years investigating, managing, and developing strategic plans to eliminate the Mafia. He first utilized the RICO law to investigate a corrupt labor union controlled by the Gambino family. The UNIRAC case led the way for the dismantling of the Philadelphia Mafia controlled by Angelo Bruno and an international heroin distribution network referred to as the Pizza Connection, which led to the convictions of multiple Mafia members. After completing his assignment in New York, Mr. Storey was promoted to the position of Section Chief of the Organized Crime Program at FBI headquarters with the responsibility of overseeing the program throughout the country. He developed the FBI’s National Drug Strategy, which established national standards to eliminate major drug trafficking organizations. He retired from the FBI while serving as Deputy Assistant Director of the New York Division, overseeing an agent workforce of 1,200 agents. He has appeared on the PBS NewsHour with Jim Lehrer and The Charlie Rose Show, and numerous cases he managed were extensively covered by many local and national news outlets.
